Weekly Review of Yellow Phosphorus and Phosphorus-Containing Intermediates: Yellow Phosphorus Prices Show a Firm Upward Trend

This week, the domestic yellow phosphorus market in China experienced a slight upward movement, with producers maintaining firm pricing. According to data from Zhuochuang Information, the average market price of yellow phosphorus in China reached RMB 23,033/ton on January 15, representing an increase of RMB 316/ton, or 1.39%, compared to the average price on January 8.

The weekly average price of yellow phosphorus in China stood at RMB 22,905/ton, up RMB 283/ton from the previous week, reflecting a 1.25% increase. In contrast, the prior week recorded a month-on-month decline of RMB 72/ton, or 0.32%.

Meanwhile, phosphorus trichloride prices also trended upward this week. The average weekly price in the East China market reached RMB 6,060/ton, marking an increase of RMB 55/ton, or 0.92%, compared to the previous week, which had shown a 0.33% decline.
